Despite the ongoing pandemic’s brutal effect on the Philippine economy, NÉW Lounge stands firm in the beauty industry and strives to continue with the expansion plans that it had set for 2020. The brand is very proud to announce that it opened its very first provincial branch within the islands of Luzon, in the heart of Angeles City, Pampanga. Located in Omnistellar Building along Fil-Am Friendship highway, NÉW Lounge Pampanga is in one of the hippest spots in the City, an area frequented by all age groups.
Bringing the signature radiant look and feel of the interiors as with its Metro Manila sister lounges, NÉW Lounge Pampanga boasts of a high end luxury vibe without compromising safety in this pandemic world. This branch has six eyelash recliners which are divided by floor to ceiling curtains and two separate nail stations. Adapting to the times, strong health & safety implementation of protocols are in place, an essential step in gaining the trust of all clients. All eyelash and nail specialists underwent safety training and were given strict instructions on the new normal changes in handling clients and in monitoring themselves daily. Full PPEs continue to be worn by both employees and clients when inside the service areas as safety remains to be a main priority for the Management.

With the ongoing pandemic, many Metro Manila dwellers who were originally from the provinces went home to be with their families. “I think it was a good idea that we brought New Lounge to provincial areas most especially in Pampanga, its Kapampangan fans can now enjoy beautiful lashes and nails without having to worry about traveling all the way to Metro Manila” she adds.
True to NÉW Lounge tradition, a “Lash Doll Day” event was held last December 16-18, 2020 to give the brand’s local media, socialites and influencer friends a peek into NÉW Lounge Pampanga. A ribbon cutting ceremony was led by Ms. Elizabeth Timbol, together with other partners and stakeholders of the company to formally launch the branch to the public. This celebration, which used to have the goal of gathering together “Lash Dolls” for the love of beauty, has evolved into an event with very limited bookings made per time slot and minimal face to face interactions. NÉW Lounge made sure to adapt to the times and believed that festivities, however small they have become, need not be canceled and can be carried out safely. A few of the attendees of this 3-day event included Kapampangan beauties Nicole Caluag, Nina Ellaine Cabrera, Mariah Santos, Ning Cordero, Mich Viray and Rhea Tan, together with some members of Angeles City’s Korean community.
NÉW Lounge couldn’t stress this enough, the required minimum safety protocols that we all practice may have limited how people express themselves through beauty. But with all these, the eyes have gained a whole new spotlight in making sure that everyone still has avenues for self-expression in this new normal world. Opening more lounges outside of the brand’s comfort zone in Metro Manila is proof of New Lounge’s commitment to reach and empower more women, one city at a time.
