Going to Mimosa Clubhouse through a picturesque vast green golf course is always inviting and astounding. The beautiful scenery is well known for the only golf course in the Philippines that hosted Tiger Woods.
Apart from all of the sprawling fairways and greens, the newly renovated Mimosa Golf facility has a lot more to offer, the apparent attraction is Q by Mimosa (QBM) restaurant located in the Clubhouse. It brings in a new flavorful experience for golfers and commoners as it offers a weekend brunch buffet like no other
“QBM is a brunch with a green view, very classy and shinny. It’s a good start of the day with fantastic food,” shares Quest Hotel and Mimosa Golf executive chef Heiko Reichel.
Opens on Friday to Sunday starting 11:00 a.m., QBM introduces exceptional menu with wide selection of international flare that caters to everyone. “We have traditional Korean dishes, classic Filipino food like adobo and all time favorite Western food as well. Our menu changes every week, together with my team we always think on how we can attract more guests and serve them better. And for Chef recommendation, I suggest you come and try our Pasta station this weekend, ” Chef Reichel further added.
For only P500 per head, the buffet features marvelous choices of entrees and signature dishes. For dessert, assorted cakes, banana muffins and donuts are delightfully creamy not overly sweet. Refreshment, fresh juices and coffee are readily available.
Being surrounded by nature is a big plus, that is why QBM takes pride of its unique characteristic, having a brunch with a scenic view of the thrilling emerald golf course makes a pleasant eating experience, indeed a perfect setting to an enjoyable and relaxing meal.
Following the renovation of the whole Mimosa estate, QBM interior design brings a fresher look with well-manicured dining area for space and airy ambiance. The whole Clubhouse has also refurbished and redesigned the building interior and exterior, changed the furniture and upgraded the amenities to serve guests better.
According to Mimosa director of golf operations Don Erwin Vinluan, one of the changes introduced by the new management is opening the Mimosa 36-hole championship golf course, with the two nines named Acacia and Lakeview and other 18 holes, Mountain View to guests and walk-inns.
“Before only Mountain View was available to guests but now we opened Acacia and Lakeview to them. Also, Mimosa’s renovated driving range is now fully operational, with new golf balls and mats. A Golf Academy will also be opened this year,” Vinluan added.
He is confident that by 2018, they will be ready to show the world a much-improved Mimosa golf.
