IMAGINE WAKING up to the chirping of birds and the gentle rustling of leaves as you begin your day surrounded by a verdant landscape. At The YogaFarm at Estancia Primavera, this dream is a reality, daily. This holistic haven, located just 1.5 hours from Manila, is a sanctuary for the mind, body, and soul.
Immerse yourself in the tranquil ambiance of The YogaFarm at Estancia Primavera, where the focus is on healthy living, yoga practice, and a profound connection with nature. This unique retreat offers guests an unparalleled experience that will leave you feeling rejuvenated and revitalized.
Translated as “Spring Ranch,” Estancia Primavera embodies the belief that healthy living is not just a buzzword but a way of life. With the guidance of professional yoga therapist and teacher-trainer Bea Gomez-Dey, the center’s commitment to wellness is manifest in every aspect of your stay, from the fresh, locally sourced vegetarian meals to the rejuvenating natural environment.
The founders of Estancia Primavera understand that true wellness is more than just physical health – it’s about cultivating a sense of inner peace and connection to us and the source of sustenance, Mother Earth. The workshop also provides a space where visitors can explore the transformative effects of yoga and meditation in a natural, serene setting.
Dey’s decade of experience in yoga therapy and teaching enables her to create a nurturing, transformative and supportive experience for visitors to Estancia Primavera, allowing them to reconnect with their inner selves, physical bodies, and the natural world.
“At The YogaFarm at Estancia Primavera, yoga practice is just one part of a larger commitment to healthy living,” Dey explains. “We believe that what we eat and how we treat our bodies is just as important as our yoga practice.”
“We’re Kapampangan, so we understand the challenges of breaking away from our culture’s love for meat,” Dey admits. “But we encourage our guests to take a 14-hour break from eating meat, to give their gut and body a chance to rest,” Dey added.
This focus on healthy living extends beyond the plate too. Estancia Primavera believes in the healing power of nature and has created a beautiful, natural environment where people can come and relax, practice yoga, and connect with nature.
Their upcoming YogaFarm workshop series is an opportunity to take your self-awareness and manifestation to the next level. The three-part workshop is a unique blend of yoga, mindful consumption, and nature-sensing practices, designed to take you on a reflective journey through daily pranayama (breath exercise), asana (movement), mindful dining, journaling, grounding, and community activities.
The workshop themes range from Roots and Growth (March 18-19, 2023) to Season and Tides (April 15-16, 2023) and Live and Breathe (May 20-21, 2023), each offering a 14-hour multi-sensory experience that is open to practitioners of all levels and experience. Highlights include daily meditation, open-level Vinyasa Yoga, yogic tea-making workshop, foot massage, full board vegetarian meals, and use of the pool.
